Like the rest of the Balearic Islands, Menorca has suffered numerous invasions throughout its history: Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Visigoths, Arabs, Catalans, French and British have taken this beautiful island, but all preceded one prehistoric culture unique in the world, leaving some testimonies in stone, basically Taulas, found only here.
