Sports and adventure

Outdoor sports: sailing, cycling routes, diving, horse riding,...

For outdoor activities Menorca offers a wide range of coastal and inland sports. Pony trekking, hiking, and mountain biking can be enjoyed on countless country paths and bridle tracks, most notably the ‘Cami de cavalls’ (Bridle path) which circles the island. There are 20 way-marked tracks along Menorca’s coastline.

Impressive caves, cliffs and secluded beaches

For those who love sailing, Menorca is aptly called the Windy Island! All type of marine services and facilities are available in Maó, Ciutadella and Fornells, the busiest natural centres. Other tourist resorts also rent out a variety of boats, offer excursions to remote beaches or diving tuition. Within the Protected Area in the north of the Island, you will be able to dive and see unique marine species, caves and shipwrecks.

Canoeing is another way of experiencing Menorca. Discover impressive caves, cliffs and secluded beaches accessible only from the sea. One can also practise cliff-climbing besides the sea, which is a real adrenalin adventure!
